PUBLIC NOTICES

As of April 28, 2021, ALL Town meetings will be held in person at 308 Hwy 70 @ Lakeview Drive. The public is invited to attend.

The Sewer Board meeting, the Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting and the Public Hearing scheduled for May 31, 2021 has been changed to May 24, 2021 due to the Memorial Day holiday. This change will be for the month of May only.

Temporary/Possible Full Time Position

 

The Town of Pegram is accepting applications

for a temporary/possible full time position working

 for the Public Works Department. Applications are

 available at Town Hall at 308 Highway 70 between

the hours of 8 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 4 PM Monday

 through Friday. Applicants must be at least 18, have

 transportation, a valid driver’s license and be in good

 physical condition. A background check and pre-employment

 drug screen will be required as Pegram is a drug free

workplace. This position is primarily outdoor labor.

Applicants should be able to do weed eating, trimming,

 mowing, cleaning of facilities, trash removal, equipment

 operation and maintenance, sewer inspections and any

 miscellaneous duties required by the position. Experience

 is helpful but not required. Must be able to work independently

 and be very self motivated. The Town of Pegram is an Equal

 Opportunity Employer. Applications will be accepted

through Noon on Friday, May 14, 2021 and interviews

will begin the week of May 17, 2021.

To keep you informed the Town of Pegram will now be posting meeting changes, Public Hearings, etc. in the Cheatham County Exchange which is available at the Pegram Post Office and Pegram Town Hall.

A burn permit is required from Oct. 5th thru May 15th. To get permit call 877-350-2876 or email burnsafetn.org
