The license tag office in Pegram only will close at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.

Due to the holidays, the Board of Mayor and Alderman and Sewer Board meetings for Nov. and Dec. have been combined and will be held Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 at 7:00 pm.

The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Dec. 13, 2021 is cancelled due to no new business.

Public Works Full Time Position
The Town of Pegram is accepting applications for a full-time position working for the Public Works Department. Applications are available at Town Hall located at 308 Highway 70 between the hours of 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and be in good physical condition. A background check and pre-employment drug screen will be required as Town of Pegram is a drug free workplace. This position is primarily outdoor labor. Applicants should be proficient in weed eating, mowing, trimming, cleaning of facilities, trash removal, equipment operation, maintenance, sewer inspections and miscellaneous duties required by the position. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. The Town of Pegram is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applications will be accepted until 4:00pm on Friday January 7, 2022.
